
OUR JOURNEY
Mountainhome Foods began in a small kitchen tucked away in the heart of the Poconos. Co-founders Dana Robin and Frank Fischer, a couple with a shared love of cooking, spent countless evenings experimenting with sauces, dressings, and condiments made from fresh, honest ingredients.
Like countless other families, Dana and Frank were touched by gluten sensitivities, including celiac disease. But they refused to accept dinners and parties with flavorless and unsatisfying GF alternatives. So, they sought to make gluten-free flavorings that delivered f simplicity, quality, and the comforting taste of home.
Inspired by the natural beauty around them and the desire to share authentic, nature-driven food, Dana and Frank started serving a handful of friends and local restaurants in the Poconos area in 2019. The passion for Mountainhome caught on, and now our flavors and styles grace the dishes of mid and upscale restaurants across the mid-Atlantic, elevating their menus with products rooted in care and tradition.
Today, Mountainhome Foods continues that mission — bringing the flavors of the Poconos to professional kitchens across Pennsylvania and beyond.
